Architecture holds with the design and construction of buildings in their environmental, sociological and technical contexts.

Here in AIAP, this programme aims at attaining a high level of related excellence in architectural design. There is escalating respect of architecture as one of the top intellectual disciplines in one country as it is an art form, and a technical profession thoroughly linked with the single largest sector of investment in the economy of the country. Through this 5 year programme in AIAP, we make to impart broad based architectural education which we believe serves to open multiple career choices and job opportunities depending on interests of the students to exemplify - in the public, private, NGO and multinational corporate sectors.

Architects duty not only restricted to design but also to execute different building projects and resolve other climate issues related to the manmade environment in a variety of ways. Both theory and studio exercises are viewed as the core of the programme with crucial inputs being provided by experts specializing in the different fields like arts, humanities, engineering and technology, and professional practice of architecture.

The art and science of designing and engineering of large structures or buildings is called architecture. The one who have enthusiasm for both the sciences and the arts tend to study the architecture, and architecture admissions requirements typically consider both artistic ability and mathematical proficiency. A strong foundation of multidisciplinary skills related to space, construction environments and aesthetics are offered to the students these skills include drawing, research architectural presentation and writing computer applications. These are supported by courses in architectural representation and visual communication including computer modelling.

The student learn that architecture has come under the influence of at least four, occasionally contradictory, forces that is social aspirations, history, culture, climate and evolving technologies. It is believed that participating students get exposure to new ways of thinking and imagining. Nationwide and Global level workshops, exhibitions and seminars are repeatedly held in the branch, several of which are organized in corporation with international universities and organizations.

The Jury is conducted to evaluate the students abilities on various factors such as designing. It is done at the end of each semester for multifarious subjects like Architecture Design, Building Construction additionally in thesis and many more. Student are not limited to get taught only on theoretical platform but on the contrary they are taken to different educational trips which make students to understand not only the climatic factors of that particular place better but also the culture of that area and other environmental factors which is paramount. Thus they get legitimate justifications to incorporate ideas to design.

The architecture program at AIAP open the architect to recognizes the range and changing nature of future. Whatever the exact nature of these roles might be, the programs are designed in such a way to prepare students to perceive the ordered relationship of not only the people but also the environment and to translate this order into design for the enhancement of human experience.

In addition to preparing students for advanced studies in architecture, the programs strong curriculum prepare students well for graduate work in other fields, such as Landscape Architects, Conservation Architects, Green Design Architects, Interior Designer, Urban Design, Transportation Planning etc. The major provides a background for individuals wanting to explore a diversity of careers in architecture, design, engineering, construction, and structures.

Educational Trips

A close and meaningful relationship is always seen between architecture and travel. As architecture is a part of our natural environment, it is difficult to overlook it, particularly assuming that it has recorded historical, social, cultural, and artistic values. Traveling has always played a vital role in architectural education.
